We are delighted that you are interested in introducing VX to your country. There are several ways of doing this. Have a look at the information below
Although VX started life in the UK it has attracted attention from several countries - in fact it has a toe-hold in 26 countries, some of whom have progressed faster than others.
The sport gets started mainly by someone seeing the sport and recognising the impact it has, welcoming its values and seeing the potential to make history.
Currently Hong Kong, Uganda, Kenya and India are making the most progress but we would welcome enquiries from other countries.
Some people see VX and want to establish a National Governing Body in their country. They just wish to run the sport. Clearly they will have to put a plan in place (a) to obtain some initial equipment and (b) to indicate to us how they plan to grow the sport. We don't make high demands and we have a 'roadmap' for NGBs to grow, from a Level 0 (which is basically a placeholder) to Level 5. We are not going to pretend it is easy. Developing and growing a new sport needs people with vision and tenacity - but it can be highly rewarding and gives opportunities you wouldn't get elsewhere in sport. We are here to help, advise and support.
Some people see commercial opportunities in VX - they want to import the equipment and sell it. Clearly for the sport to grow the NGB needs to know that equipment is available. The equipment is currently manufactured in the UK and exported but we are open to discussions about other commercial partnerships, manufacturing under licence etc.
and some people want to do both - they want to have the whole thing under one roof and wish to both import and sell the equipment AND run the NGB. This is fine by us and works well.
