Paul is our Managing Director. He is one of the founding fathers of the sport so has been involved in the sport from its very early days. Paul travels all over the world promoting the sport, developing partnerships, running sessions and assisting at events.
Paul was an active player for several years but in 2018 he retired, unbeaten, from competitive V2. He was also Head Coach of the England squad for several years and oversaw England winning two World Cups, a Youth World Cup, two European Cups and the first Test Match Series.
He has now handed over the reins to Carl Alsop but helps in an administrative capacity. He still plays VX at club level and is Head Coach of Easi-RockIts VX Club. Paul is also an experienced referee and enjoys being involved in events. He is also a Board Member of the Sport REcognized Association and is the UK representative for the Sports Aid Network
His favourite saying is 'Nothing, but nothing, I have ever done in my life has the impact that VX has. We are creating a legacy'.

Tom has also been involved in the sport since its earliest days. He currently works as a Personal Trainer and is also studying for a degree in Sports, Exercise and Management with the OU. VX is very lucky in that Tom is bringing all of this experience to his VX coaching.
Tom is Head Coach of the succesful Ripon VX Club and is also captain of the England team and part of the England coaching staff, taking on the role of Fitness Coach.
He is a highly experienced player being a three-times World Champion, winner of the 365 and also having won the first European V2 title. Tom is regarded in the VX Community as one of the top three players.
He has been recognised for his achievements by being one of the first people to be elected to the Hall of Fame and also being only the second person to be entered into the 'Legends' Gallery. Also as a result of his achievements in the sport, Tom was very proud to be an Olympic Torchbearer in 2012.
Helen's speciality is Education. She is a dedicated PE Teacher at Ripon Grammar School, and during the time of the School Sports Partnership was Director of Sport for Ripon Schools.
Helen heard about VX at a conference and wanted to find out more about it. When she saw it for herself she decided she wanted Ripon and Ripon Grammar School to be central to the sport. As a result of her efforts Ripon Grammar School became the National Centre of Excellence in England, and, with Tom, she established the Ripon VX Club. For her work in promoting the sport Helen was inducted into the VX Hall of Fame.
Helen was also part of the England VX squad coaching staff for several years and, like Tom, was also very proud to be an Olympic Torchbearer in 2012
As we work so closely with schools, we are delighted that Helen can give us the benefit of her education experience.
Stirling was one of our Directors from the establishment of the company. He was also part of VX England and worked hard to help them establish their policies and procedures.
He initially came across VX through his friendship with Paul and he introduced it to his local Air Cadet Squadron in Leigh on Sea. Later on he moved North and became more involved in the sport.
He attended many exhibitions and conferences with us, and officiated at many events. He had amazing vision and did his utmost to promote the sport.
Sadly Stirling died in 2018 after a long battle with illness. We are grateful for what he brought to us and miss his presence and sense of humour.
